Alligator BBQ
Chapter 127:Alligator BBQ
“Where are we going to kill these crocodiles?”Tom asked.
"Right here," Jason looked at the location in the audience area and set the place near the entrance. "Find a few good hands and move a little faster."
"I can help with slaughter," Thompson said, and Jason said, "and I learned a lot from my father when we went out hunting in Texas."
“Are you still powerful?”Jason looked at Thompson, who was all over the mud, "Do you want to roast the fire and eat something first?"
"I'm full of energy at the thought of eating these guys' meats," Thompson said, excited, and because of the Hill relationship, he was reluctant to show weakness in front of Jason, "no problem, major."
“It’s hard for you,” Jason snapped his arm.
"Cowboy, I think you need this," Tom handed over a sharp military dagger, "and we'll work on it, and you see they're all in a hurry."
"Rodrigues, help us get some iron signs, please."Tom shouted to a soldier, "Before you set out, these things were packed, you should know where they put them."
“Okay,” Rodriguez promised, and he got up and ran to the rain.
"Tom, let's hang them first," Thompson took some rope, tied one to the crocodile's head, and the other from the beam, and fastened it on the pillar.
The crocodiles were hanged and hung straight in front of them.Thompson spun slowly around the neck of the crocodiles with his dagger, and the knife struggled to cut off their skin. These crocodiles are not very old, and adult American crocodiles are generally more than 10 feet long.
The crocodile skin was cut open by the knife, and Thompson slowly tore the skin down the seat of his neck, where he saw the pink flesh showing from the mouth.
"It looks like pork," Tom touched the crocodile's flesh, "even the fat."
"I think you look like that too."Thompson said, "Gocket skin is a good material for luxury, but I don't think anyone wants to keep them here."
“Hey, look at your movements so skillfully, have you ever killed a crocodile before?”Tom looked at Thompson with admiration, "Looking at your movements, it makes me feel like you used to be a chef."
“I’ve killed a lot of animals before,” Thompson didn’t look up, his attention still focused on the blade, the dagger in his hand quickly cut in the crocodile’s body, and some white fat was left on his side. The whole crocodile skin was cut down by him for the most part, and the outside of the brown scales, the crocodile skin is white inside, and it is covered with a layer of shallow fat.
“The signature you’re going to,” Rodriguez came over with a large bag of things and placed it next to him.
Three other crocodiles were also hung up, and Tom began to mutilate the crocodiles as if they had learned to Thompson, and the others began to gather around to watch their slaughter.
"You can help put the meat on these iron sticks," said Tom, "and put some oil on it, and sprinkle some seasonings, so that it can be roasted on the fire."
The crocodile skin was peeled off, and their bodies seemed to be small for a moment, and the meat was cut into small pieces, and then strung up.
Some people went to take the oil and seasoning, everyone started together, the efficiency suddenly improved a lot.
The well-dressed meat skewers were placed on clean plastic mats, and Hill and King joined the team of help. They put the meat on the string next to them, and then sprinkled the seasoning evenly on it.
“Are these pretzels and leek?”It's good smell."Hill grabbed some of the seasonings and smelled them in his hand.
"Yes," said King, "I have never eaten crocodile meat before, and I don't know what it tastes like."
“Smell certainly isn’t going to lose to these military rations,” Hill said quietly to King, “and I’m tired of it at the base.”
The well-dressed meat skewers were taken to the fire, and the oil on it began to stir, and the seductive scent spread out in the audience area.
"Dude, I can't help it," said Tom, finally cutting the crocodile meat in front of him, and he dropped a knife and ran over to pick up a skeleton of charred meat and gnaw it.
"Shut up," Tom kept blowing his breath while eating the skewer, and the oil on the freshly roasted kebab was very high, and his mouth was very hot.
The roasted kebabs were put into everyone's hands, and Hill took a handful, and she walked with Kim to Dr. Mario's side.
“Doctor, you guys,” Hill gave Dr. Mario, and the members of the team each split the string.
“It tastes good,” Dr. Martin praised, and the oil on the meat skewers was stained on her lips, and she stuck her tongue and licked it, continuing to taste the delicacy in her hand.
"If you have the conditions to pickle up early, I believe it will taste better," Dr. Mario said with a smile. "I'm older, and these heavy-tasting things can't be eaten more."
He said that he had divided the lot of the meat in his hands into Hill and Kim's hands, "Girls, you have worked hard, and you should eat a little of yourself."
“Okay,” Hill picked up the meat skewers and began to eat. This should be the first roast she ate after the mutant outbreak, and various spices with the fresh taste of crocodile meat, constantly stimulating her taste buds.Although there are a lot of things in the stomach, but the delicious barbecue is in front, and Hill is not willing to live up to it.
The audience area is filled with the smell of barbecue, and most people are in the big and fast.Sigourney ate something and hurried back to take care of Jennifer, who helped the flight attendant change the ice pack, which was no longer cold, and put the new ice pack next to her forehead.
Jennifer had taken the cold medicine and was now sleeping, her forehead was still hot and her lips were dry.
Sigourney dipped some water on her lips with a clean towel and wiped it slightly moistened.
Jennifer’s face was with some pathological rosyness, her eyebrows clasped together, and it seemed that her body was very uncomfortable.
"Signey," Christine came along, and she took Sigourney's towel, "you've worked hard, and you'll have something to eat."
“I’ve already eaten, thank you, Christine,” Sigourney shook her head, her eyes on Jennifer’s face, and her heart was full of worry.
"Good girl, I see you've been busy from noon until now, and you've only eaten a little," said Christine, "you can't do that, if Ms. Jennifer hasn't gotten better and you're sick again, what will you do?"
“Go, here’s where I look,” Christine pushed over Sigourney’s arm.
"Well, then, please," Sigourney nodded, "and I'll come here when I eat."
“Is Jennifer better?”Matt came over and asked Christine, "Where's Sigourney?"I just saw her here.
"I've got her to eat, Captain," said Christine. "The crewmaster's condition is not getting better, and I think she may need an infusion treatment."
“There is a lack of infusion equipment,” Matt sighed, “and there are no hospitals in the Everglades Park, and we can only find them in the hospital.”
"The nearest hospital here must be Homestead in Florida City," Christine thought to herself, "or will you go and talk to Major Jason?"
“We toast the cowboys,” a group of soldiers gathered around the fire, excitedly eating the barbecue and drinking beer.Tom stood up and raised his beer in his hand to suggest, “The cowboy helped a lot in the hunt for the crocodile, and we witnessed the techniques he showed during the slaughter.”To be honest, he's really great, very much like me from ten years ago."
“Haha, cowboy,” the crowd burst into laughter, and everyone held up the beer and motioned to Thompson.
"Thank you," Thompson said, standing up and saying, "My life was saved on Route 106. I always wanted to thank you, and God gave me this opportunity until today."
“The little help I can give to you at the base makes me feel guilty and uneasy,” Thompson said excitedly. “Hopefully in the days to come, I hope to make more of our entire team.”
“Good,” Jason came along, and Thompson’s words just now gave him a new understanding of the young man who had come to Texas.
"Thank you, Major," Thompson touched Jason with a can of beer, and they both poured it down. "If these beers were iced, it would be perfect."
"Major," Matt came over, "it's convenient to speak with one step?"
“Is it related to Jennifer?”Jason asked.
The two men went to the side of the roof, Matt looked at the rain outside, and found that the rain had not stopped at all.
"Jennifer's condition is still not getting better," Matt said. "My people judge she needs infusion therapy."
“But we now have no equipment to infuse, except for some temporary drugs,” Jason said. “And the rainstorm is bound to delay our trip, and in this case, I am also worried about the flight attendant.”
"You can't keep delaying here, Major," Matt said earnestly, "and as long as you nod your head, it's always more difficult."
“I don’t quite understand what you mean, Matt,” Jason said with a look of doubt on his face, and he didn’t know what Matt meant by “as long as he nods.”
“We can find a hospital, and there’s a hospital nearby,” Matt said, “less than four miles (about six kilometers) from our location.”
“Where?”Jason asked if he felt the distance could be tried.
“Indestiny is just to our north.”
